Last year, after many years in the Queensland Public Service, I took the leap to become a Virtual Assistant.  Those years in the public service did set me up well with a wide range of administration skills, knowledge and experience – whatever admin assistance you need, I’m sure at some stage in my work life I’ve done it before – even if I haven’t, I’m confident I can figure out how to do it or provide advice on how to get it done.

I also have advanced skills in Word and Powerpoint, intermediate skills in Excel and I’ve used so many databases and systems, I can adapt to something new. My specialty is written communication (from years of proofreading and editing government correspondence, briefing notes and other documents).
